Christmas performances 2015

We were treated to our Christmas performances by all of our children from Key Stage 1. The Reception children performed ‘The Innkeepers Breakfast’ to their family members. They all sang, danced and spoke their words really well. It is always a joy to see the Reception perform their nativity as this signals the start of our Christmas celebrations within school. It was a truly memorable performance for many reasons. The photo of the children was in the Evening Post.

‘Children of the World’ was performed by Years 1 and 2. The two performances were also warmly received by their family and friends, who appreciated all of the hard work they have put into to producing a nativity with a twist. It was a rather humorous production and the children delivered their lines well. All of the children were clear in their dictation both in their speaking parts as well as their singing. A particular mention to the soloists and groups of children for their great performances. We all enjoyed performing and watching both productions. Well done. Thank you for your support with practicing words and coming along to support your children.

Year 3 and 4 performed extremely well to their families their ‘Silent Night’ production. They sang, danced and spoke very clearly and well. The Year 5 and 6 children sang beautifully in St Mary’s Church. Well done to the readers for their clarity of speech and the violinist for playing so well. Thank you to all the staff who made the productions so successful.  The total collected for the Barnardo’s Children’s Charity at all of the performances was £772.00 Thank you for your generosity.
