Almondsbury Great Christmas Bake Off

GREAT CHRISTMAS ALMONDSBURY BAKE OFF – Twenty eight of the children in Year 5 and 6 took part in the Great Christmas Almondsbury Bake Off to raise funds for School in a Bag. This charity helps children who have been victims of natural disasters like those who have suffered in the Philippines. The children had to bake and decorate either cakes or biscuits which were then were judged by Mrs Vining.

The winners were Josh Jenkins, Georgia McMahon and Eoghan Miller. The winning and biscuits cakes were then raffled at the Christmas fayre, whilst four other cakes were subject to sealed auction bids. Well done to all those who participated; the standard was very high and they all looked delicious! So far we have raised £42    so far . The remainder of the cakes will be sold at selected performances of the Christmas performances. Thank you to the children and parents for their support.
