Here’s to another year of great sports and physical activity at Almondsbury C of E Primary School.

Ofsted rated our school Outstanding in the Summer 2017 and reported "Additional sports funding is used very effectively. The sports leader takes concerted action to develop new clubs, such as karate, and improve teachers’ confidence in the delivery of physical education. Pupils now assess the development of their own physical education skills and are acquiring sports leadership skills."

Almondsbury School continues to go from strength to strength. We were really pleased to achieve the GOLD SAINSBURY’S SCHOOL GAMES KITEMARK AWARD for 2017-2018 again last year.

In addition, the sports council completed a leadership project on Inclusive Boccia Intra and inter competitions to also achieve PLATINIUM SAINSBURY'S SCHOOL GAMES KITEMARK AWARD for two years 2017-2019.

Our school is so proud of and grateful for the wonderful support, hard work and enthusiasm the whole school community has towards PE and school sport.
