Mrs Goode's and Mr Allen's Class

Welcome to Mrs Goode and Mr Allen's class page!  Please visit regularly to look out for useful information.  We're looking forward to a fantastic year working and learning together!

Term 5 and 6

Our Topic and Science work over Terms 5 and 6 will be linked to Space, including learning about the Earth, sun and moon and light, as well as how we see things. Be sure to keep an eye out for our space-themed art projects that we completed during SATs week - photos coming soon!

Week one of Term 6 will be STEM week across the school, where we will be looking at the ideas of a greener future. As part of this, each Year 6 pupil will need one empty plastic fizzy pop bottle; you don't need to bring this in just yet but do make sure you save one between now and then.

Our themes for class collective worship are friendship for Term 5 and courage for Term 6. We have been really enjoying the assemblies that the children have put together to share with their classmates and will be looking for volunteers to share these with the younger children in the school too.

And finally, our performance for the end of the year will be Aladdin! We are already busy auditioning and casting then rehearsals will start straight after half term. Scripts will be coming home later this week, which will also be perfectly timed for the release of the new Disney film, coming out on Wednesday - why not try it for a rainy day activity over the half term?!

EASTER REVISION

Be sure to check out the SATs Organiser and the 10-4-10 resources below to help with your maths revision over the Easter holidays. Your Maths Dictionaries are due in on Wednesday 24th April.

Have a restful Easter - try not to eat too much chocolate!
