Thursday

It was sunny and warm as we made our way to Disneyland Paris and stayed that way the whole way through the day. It was a very excited coach as we approached the entrance.

Once we had made our way through security and the crowds we headed straight for the first ride 'Big Thunder Mountain'. Oh no it was closed for technical issues!! So we went over to the 'Haunted Mansion instead.

After that, we headed to Pirates of the Caribbean to see Jack Sparrow before heading over to the Spinning Teacups and then our favourite ride 'It's a Small World' where everyone was fascinated by the characters from the different continents. Lunch called before taking on the Star Tours and the one we all wanted to go on 'Hyperspace Mountain'. This was truly exhilarating and all those who went on wanted to have a second go, which some of us did later on. Those who didn't want to go on this ride went over to drive some Cars.

We had heard that Big Thunder Mountain was back open so we quickly headed over and absolutely everyone rode this ride. It was fantastic 'the best ride ever!!' according to nearly everyone. Some of the children went on to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, while others went Buzz Lightyear laser quest.

We saw various characters along the way, seeing Pluto, Tigger, Cinderella and amazingly Mickey Mouse.

It was then time for the parade after making our very important purchase in the shop. This took some time as there was so much to choose from. The parade was great seeing all of the characters in one place was thrilling.

It was sadly time to go home but were all so happy having spent the day in Disney.

Back at the chateau dinner beckoned and the opportunity to try some snails in garlic butter. There were so many that did try.

It was then time for the disco and our last activity at the chateau with lots of dancing.

It was a brilliant day and the children were exceptionally well behaved and stayed safe by making sure their buddy/partner we around and holding hands to leave the park. Well done Year 6! :)
