During this lesson, we looked at how erosion and deposition takes place in river with some fun practical activities!

We acted as the water and rocks to practically demonstrate how it takes place in rivers and we investigated the idea of erosion with placing a sugar cube in each cup but only stirring one with a spoon. We found out that the cup that was stirred eroded the sugar quicker due to the movement it made!
