Hi Year 6!

Thought I'd write you all a little message today rather than doing you a video - want to make sure you are keeping your regular reading up!

I hope that you are all well and that you had a lovely Easter weekend despite it all being so different from normal. I've been thinking of you all lots and I'm really missing seeing and teaching you. I don't think Flynn and Mr Goode are that impressed with me trying to tell them all about subordinating conjunctions and semicolons...

We've added a new tab to the class webpage that contains your suggested work for Term 5 ready to start on April 20th. We've organised this into weekly sections where you will find Maths, English, Spelling, Science and Topic. We would also like you to continue using Read Theory as regularly as possible. Well done to those of you who have made such a fab effort with this already: you've completed 263 quizzes as a class so far so let's see if we can hit the 300 mark for next week. Jacob and Ellis are our biggest 'quizzers' at the moment with almost 120 completed between them! 

Remember to stay in touch with us by email. We'd really love to see what you have been up to at home over the Easter holidays and, of course, we'd love to see any work that you do over the next few weeks. We check our emails daily so will always aim to get back to you quickly.

Was really lovely to see so many of you in our Zoom catch up today! Really sorry for the technical issues for those of you in group one but it was fab to see your smiling faces even if I didn't actually get to hear much of what you were saying! We'll try and organise another session soon.
