Daily English sessions on Zoom at 11:00am

Monday 11th January - Please write your own story about the lost toy using the story planner your created on Friday. 

Tuesday 12th January - Today we will be reading the story Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers and then discussing which part we liked best and why. 

Wednesday 13th January - Today we will be reading the story Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers again and then using a story map to retell the story using actions. You will then create your own story map of the important parts of the story to help you retell the story. 

Thursday 14th January - Today we are learning that the story Lost and Found was written in the past tense. We are going to spot the verbs in the story that tell us it has already happened. We will learn how to add the suffix 'ed' to a verb to change verbs from present tense into past tense. You will then complete a past and present tense sort and fill in the sentences with the correct tense. 

Friday 15th January - Today we will be learning how to up level sentences to make them interesting for others to read. We will be learning how to inlcude power noun phrases and connectives in our sentences.
