Week 4

*** BUDDY LETTERS***

This week,  Miss Wingett has been busy matching you with your buddies for next year. We would like you to write a letter to your buddy to introduce yourself and your school.  As of yet not all buddies are confirmed so we would like you to make your letter generic. Below is a PDF with a couple of examples of letters if you missed Friday's Zoom Assembly

Please type your letter and email it to:  nic.baykaa-murray@almondsburyprimary.co.uk

If they can be completed this week and sent before Friday 26th June that would be extremely helpful.

Y6 Maths

Please open the document 'Y6 Maths Home Learning Overview' below for information on Maths activities this week.  The 'White Rose Home Learning' activities and answer sheets are available below as PDFs.

Y5 Maths

This week,  both the Monday and Tuesday lesson found on White Rose have been repeated so we have alternative activities for the children.  Please follow the steps below for support in accessing the correct video.

  1.  Open the PDF 'Video Links'  and click on the link which corresponds to the daily video to watch.
  2. Have a  go at answering the questions on the worksheet when the video asks you to.
  3. Watch the video again whilst looking at and checking your answers
  4. Mark your work using the answer sheets

The worksheets are attached as PDF documents

PLEASE NOTE - IN WEEK 5 THE Y5 CHILDREN WILL NEED A PROTRACTOR TO CARRY OUT THE ACTIVITIES.

English

Please work through the booklet of tasks below. This week is narrative linked to The City of Silence. There is no need to print the booklet unless you really want to. Instead, you can read the instructions on the screen and then do your work on paper. Remember to drop us an email to share with us anything you are proud of.
