Reptiles Visit 28.04.26
To inspire children for their non-chronological reports on their own mythical creature, Year 3 and 4 took part in a workshop ran by 'Bristol Reptile Encounters'. Children (and some brave adults!) had the opportunity to stroke and hold a variety of reptiles, including snakes, bearded dragons and tortoises. This supported the children to find out more about the reptiles' physical features, its habitat and diet. Children also took key vocabulary to support their writing such as camouflage, constrictor and cold-blooded. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are inspired to write their reports soon.
