France Tuesday
Today was an easy get up day! 7.00am the latest we will have on the trip.
Once the showers had been taken and breakfast was eaten (yummy pain au chocolate or croissants or cereal and fruit, we headed off to Brie Comte Robert.
Once we had arrived, it was straight into the town trail and solving the clues around the little market town; learning new names of places and queens from bygone ages. At the end, the clues lead us back to the market to see the fresh produce and buy our prized souvenirs.
Once all the gifts were bought (mainly using the French we had learnt such as Je voudrais, Combien?, etc we boarded the coach to go to the huge supermarche Carrefour. It really was huge, seeing lots of cakes, breads, fruit and veg, fish and what the children came for the sweet and chocolate aisles.
It was then back to the centre for lunch and sharing of a birthday cake.
This led into our different activities for the afternoon - Team Challenge, Orienteering and Sensory Trail. It was great fun. We also were able to have some 'free time' around the centre playing basketball, tennis and chilling in our rooms.
After dinner, we went to the snail farm. What an interesting trip - we learnt loads of facts and information. We even got to hold some of the snails, which was slimy fun. The lady who runs the centre said we were her favourite group as we were so well-behaved, listened and asked such great questions. The moon was also so bright in the sky helping us on our walk back to the coach.
A great day was had by all.
