Monday 18th January - No session

Tuesday 19th January - Today we will be teaching the children to retell the story of Little Red Riding Hood using actions and character voices! Practise retelling the story at home. 

Wednesday 20th January - Today we are learning about 'stranger danger'. In the story, Little Red Riding Hood talks to the wolf, who is a stranger and tells him where Grandma's house is. We will be using this short video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H95m0v2sIMY and discussing who are 'safe strangers' e.g. the police, teachers etc.

Thursday 21st January - Today we will be looking inside Little Red Riding Hood's picnic basket and learning to use our sounds to spell the words phonetically.

Friday 22nd January - Today we will be reading a different version of the story and will be going on a red scavenger hunt.
