Spelling is taught three times per week and will have a new focus each week. Please see below for the table of which spelling patterns will be taught this year.

 

Explanation Texts

This term we will be focussing on non-fiction writing and will be using 'Rhythm of the Rain' as our focus text. At the end of the topic, the children will be writing an explanation piece about the water cycle.
