Our new topic this term is All Gold which is based on the Maya civilisation.

Topic

Our topic for this term is Blitzed. We will be learning all about WWII and the impact it had on the children and adults living in Britain at this time.

Spelling

There are the Y5/6 and Y3/4 Statutory Spelling lists, which children are expected to know at the end of Year 6. Please look at these with your child to check their understanding of the meaning of them. It is important that the children have an understanding of the Year 3/4 spelling patterns alongside extending their knowledge of the Year 5/6 spellings and patterns. 

TERM 4 AND 5 SATs REVISION FOR YEAR 6

The Year 6 children will start to revise ready for the SATs next term. You will receive more information about this at our parents' meeting on Tuesday 21st February. In the meantime, if your child would like to start their revision over the half term, then please use the KS2 3-in-1 SATs Organiser document linked below. You will also find a copy of the presentation that we will be sharing at the meeting. Order forms for purchasing SATs revision guides through the school at a reduced rate will also be sent home after the half term break.
