The annual Remembrance Service this Sunday is in St Mary’s Almondsbury at 10.45am, including a silence at 11am, will be live streamed. There can be no congregation present because public worship has been suspended. The details of the link are below or on the St Mary’s Almondsbury website. An order of service is attached. After this the poppy wreaths, which have not been taken by their organisations,  will be respectfully laid at the war memorial without a service.

Bishop Viv has launched this year’s advent appeal for clergy families in Uganda. The clergy, hot having a stipend, depend on gifts for parishioners which have been hit because of covid. Details are on: https://www.bristol.anglican.org/news/uganda-appeal.php

There for no local collection point for shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child this year. But they can be funded online at: https://shoeboxonline.samaritans-purse.org.uk/.

We are collecting new toys and gifts for the Staple Hill Salvation Army Christmas appeal. Please could you bring any items to Almondsbury Vicarage before Sunday 6th December.
