Term 6 - Splash!
This term our topic is 'Splash!'
We will be learning about things that live in water including frogs and animals under the sea. We will be learning about the seaside and thinking about Summer too!
We will continue to have our phonics sessions in our 3 phonics groups. We will be revising the sounds we have learnt so far, including learning to read and write the sounds in words and sentences independently and confidently.
In maths, we will be recapping the numbers 0-20 and number bonds to 10, learning how to count back on a number line, add and subtract using tens frames and learning about odd and even numbers. In shape, space and measure we will be investigating capacity and weight, revisiting 3D shapes and their properties and will be paying for things using 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p coins.

We will also be starting to discuss moving onto Year 1. The children will meet their new teacher and spend time in their new classroom.
