Y1 Bubbles- Returning to School

We know that it has not been an easy decision for any parent to decide if their child will return to school following the Covid-19 pandemic.  All children, parents and staff are going through a whole range of emotions at the moment and some will be excited to return to school, whilst others will be highly anxious. This is completely normal and we will do everything we can to support all of you during this uncertain time.

The Key Stage 1 team have been working hard to ensure that the environment in which the children will return to, is as safe as possible. Although it will look very different and the children will not have free access to the resources they are used to, we hope they will adapt well to the new routine and structure.

We have created this page on our website to allow the children to see what the school will look like when they return on 8th June 2020. Please share and talk about the images with your child. Things will be very different for a while but our main priority is to ensure that the children still feel happy and safe when coming to school.

There will also be some new rules at school and we will try to ensure social distancing when we can and when is appropriate. We have found this lovely video called 'While we can't hug', that we would like you to share with your child, to try and explain this.
